Field/Environmental Scientist (Miami Office)
College graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in geology, biology, chemistry, or environmental science is desired for an entry level position with a growing firm. The responsive candidate will have excellent written communication skills. Preference will be given to candidates with coursework that includes field data collection and focus on the environmental consulting industry. The successful candidate will perform a wide variety of field activities including, but not limited to soil, sediment, and groundwater sample acquisition, drilling oversight, asbestos surveys, indoor air quality surveys, aquifer testing, regulatory compliance inspections, due diligence investigations, and remedial activities including remedial system installation.
Administrative Assistant (Boston Office)
Responsibilities include internal communications and scheduling, general clerical support, document organization and tracking, cooperative report preparation, client communication and correspondence. Excellent organizational skills, written and verbal communication skills are required.
Environmental Scientist (Boston Office)
A minimum of two years environmental consulting experience is required for this position. The responsive candidate will have experience conducting field activities associated with Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments. Excellent field note taking skills are required. Experience conducting asbestos surveys, indoor air quality surveys, aquifer testing, and/or remedial system installation, operation and maintenance is preferred.
Project
Manager/Engineer (Boston and Miami Offices)
A minimum of five (5) years project management
experience in the environmental consulting industry is required for this
position. The responsive candidate
will possess strong client relation and interpersonal skills to effectively
communicate project management activities.
Preference will be given to those candidates with demonstrated client
procurement and maintenance achievement and licensed professionals. The successful candidate will have knowledge of local, state,
and federal environmental regulations including RCRA, TSCA, and Superfund.
Specific responsibilities may include directing and reporting contamination assessments; design of remediation systems; data interpretation through graphical and statistical analyses; preparation of technical reports for clients and regulatory agencies; hazardous waste and material management and pollution prevention evaluations; preparation of Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) plans; preparation of facility specific training manuals for the management of hazardous waste and materials; wetland identifications and delineations; preparation of permit applications (air, water, wetland, industrial waste, etc.); preparation and documentation of vegetation surveys.
Air-Specific
Position Description: (Miami Office)
Responsibilities
will include preparation and submittal of Title V and non-Title V Air
Construction and Air Operating Permit Applications; interpretation of permit
provisions and interaction with regulatory agencies; preparation of Annual
Operating Reports (AOR) and SARA Title III Reports; development, improvement and
implementation of air compliance systems and emission inventories for industrial
facilities; economic and technical feasibility analyses of raw material and
process modifications for industrial facilities; small scale atmospheric
dispersion modeling; Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) investigations for commercial,
industrial and residential clients and assisting clients to ensure compliance
with all Federal, State and local air quality requirements. Must keep abreast of new and proposed regulations to
determine how these may impact client’s operations.
